May 19th Wed--Pastors Day--we get a chance to hear opinions from our pastors such as Tom Anderson and John McCrumment--very enlightening part of hopefully another Great Awakening.
May 20th Thurs--Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt. He is a former U.S. Navy Chaplain who made national headlines by standing up for the rights of military chaplains to pray publicly "in Jesus' name." His stand was heard by Americans throughout who were moved and with the help of 75 Congressman led to the overturn of the national military "non-sectarian prayer" policy, restoring the rights of chaplains of all faiths to pray publicly, in uniform, according to the dictates of their conscience. He still continues to fight for the rights of others today as the name above all names continues to be a thorn to those who deny this nation's foundation.
May 25th Tues--Hear Col. John Eidsmoe--one of this nation's top constitutional professors teach us about the correct way to interpret the Constitution as unfortunately misinterpretation of late has been the norm. All of us need to learn from this great man. Colonel John Eidsmoe is a member of the legal team of the Foundation for Moral Law . Col Eidsmoe is a constitutional and historical scholar, a law professor at the Oak Brook College of Law and Public Policy, and a former law professor at the O.W. Coburn School of Law at Oral Roberts University, Regent University School of Law, and the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. Col. Eidsmoe has published 13 books and other writings including the invaluable must-read Christianity and the Constitution: The Faith of Our Founding Fathers, as well as God and Caesar, Columbus and Cortez: Conquerors for Christ, and others. He has produced numerous video and audio lecture albums including the Institute on the Constitution and Here I Stand: A Biblical Worldview for a New Millennium.
