Post your thoughts on the tea party...

Please post your thoughts on the tea party on this blog. It was wonderful to see and hear people who said they have never attended a rally to show their stand-- come out and say how it good it was to finally do so. They had had enough and they do want to do their part and turn this country around in the right direction. Thank you America for coming out and showing the world what you think and that yes, you will be silent no more!

I feel like all of our traditions are being trampled on they are getting away from consitutional law. They are bypassing a lot of the laws --they are shoving laws in Congress without people even being able to read the laws and that is clearly agianst the constitution.

The change that our president is taking us is toward socialism and I definitely know socialism does not work. Not only for our health care-- I'm a nurse. Healthcare does not need to go in the direction of socialism.

It was good to see and hear other people talking and sharing their thoughts and concerns about the direction our government is going. I realized this is not something the liberal media can hush and try to belittle. People are outraged at the tremendous amount of spending by our government with seemingly little or no concern for how it is going to affect our children and grandchildren's future. I felt proud to be there and it wasn't just a republican thing. I talked to republicans, democrats, independants and liberatarians. It was an American thing!
As Christians we should also begin to speak out and get involved or the country we so love for our religious freedoms is little by little being eroded away. This administration has many policy agendas that affect Christian beliefs in very negative, stifling ways. Yes, we need to pray like never before for our country and leaders, but we also need to get involved!
